I just upgraded from the regular Flip video camera to the new Ultra HD video camera and I couldn’t be happier.  It does everything I expected it to do and I can’t say enough about the quality.  The quality is not as good as a $1000 camera but for less than $200, it’s perfect.  Check out the test video below.

Likes:

1. It has a rechargeable battery or you can use regular AA batteries if you find yourself out somewhere with a dead battery.
2. Simplicity – It takes video and nothing more…no confusing controls or buttons.
3. Size – It fits into your pocket so you are more likely to carry it with you so you can capture those “once in a lifetime moments.”
4. Video and  sound quality are both excellent.

Dislikes:

1. Zoom isn’t much to brag about.
2. With no built in stabilization, it can get really shaky with a lot of movement.

I’ve been wanting to build a custom theme for a long time and finally did it.  It wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I’ve decided to call it Simply Clean because I feel that’s what it it. I built this for my personal website (which you are now looking at) because I wanted something clean, neat and easy to navigate. I’m not into the overly designed templates and themes available out there.

If you’re looking to build your own theme, it’s very easy to do as long as you have some knowledge in HTML, CSS, and PHP.  Maybe I’ll post how to do this in the near future.
